Shinrin Yoku Forest Bathing & Tea Experience

with Rachel Ginsberg

Open Dates

  • $60.00 – Sunday, November 15th, 2pm - 4pm

Shinrin Yoku (森林浴), often translated from Japanese as forest bathing, is the practice of spending slow, intentional time in a forest environment. Rather than hiking to a destination, we move gently and mindfully, allowing the forest to engage our senses and relax our nervous system.

Our Shinrin Yoku session will invite you to arrive just as you are, slow down, and experience the forest through sight, sound, touch, smell, and stillness. During the session, I will offer a series of gentle invitations. These are simple prompts that encourage awareness, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Every invitation is optional. You are always free to adapt, pause, or rest in the way that feels right for you. My intention is to hold a supportive, grounded space based on mutual safety and respect. Our experience will conclude with an herbal tea ceremony and a seasonal snack.

You will receive additional information about what to expect, including a participant registration form shortly after signing up for a session. If you have any immediate information to share, please include it during checkout in the “Special Needs” field.
