Natania Hume

Natania Hume is a ceramic artist and painter, arts educator, and arts administrator with 25 years of experience working with artists at all levels. She has served as Head of Arts and Gallery Director at The Williston Northampton School, founded and directed a national visiting artists residency program, and contributed essays and interviews to Studio Potter Magazine and the Tales of a Red Clay Rambler podcast. She has taught workshops at Snow Farm Craft School and sold her ceramic work through galleries and shops across the United States. She is currently completing a Master of Social Work with graduate-level training in human development and psychology — work that informs her deep interest in the inner life of creative practice. She is the founder of Open Canopy, a creative practice workshop and mentoring practice based in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
