Akbar Chris Miller
Akbar Chris Miller has been a student of the pathless path since before he was initiated into the Inayatiyya in 2009, and now serves as a Representative, Healing Cherag, and Healing Conductor. He Co-Founded the Inayati Young Adults Council, and served as Chair from 2017-2022. Akbar believes that the pathways of the heart, inner transformation, and the unity of religious ideals are here for individual, ecological, social, and global upliftment. He works with Israeli-Palestinian interfaith peacebuilding NGO Abrahamic Reunion, helps coordinate and guide sacred tours & pilgrimages to India, Israel-Palestine, and Bali, and is currently studying poetry at the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. You can find him offering nature retreats, meditation, zikr (sometimes on the beach under the full moon!), teen and young adult workshops and jams, and poetry classes at Rising Tide International in Sarasota and elsewhere, often with his wife Jessica as part of their Center, Heartway. They live 10 minutes from Siesta Key Beach on the Gulf Coast with their daughter and cats Bibi and Mani, in a tiny forest jungle.
