“The saying, “Hearts bear witness to one another,” refers to a hidden reality. If all reality were openly revealed, what need
would there be for words? Similarly, when the heart bears witness, what need is there for the testimony of the tongue?”

Hazrat Mevlânâ Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī

‘The heart becomes the vehicle for the soul to see all within and without. One not only communicates with another person, but also with God.” Hazrat Inayat Khan

Tasting God refers to being present to what is present in the heart, after the seeker recites a divine name or does zikr. This weekend we will explore four stages of interacting and being with the Divine: tasting God, drinking God, being taught by God, being prepared by God. This culminates by bringing an ethos to personal practice, that which Hazrat Inayat Khan called Akhlak Allah where “One thinks, speaks, and acts according to the pitch to which one’s soul is tuned.”

Dinner will be served the evening of the 21st with the retreat starting the morning of the 22nd.

Taj will be leading a prior retreat from June 13th to June 16th. You can register here
