Rumi Concert & Solstice Dinner

Celebrate Rumi’s Birthday at The Abode

An evening of poetry, music, and nourishment.

Join us for a festive evening celebrating the life and poetry of the beloved mystic, Jalāl al-Dīn Rumi. Through poetry, spoken word, and music, Haleh Liza Gafori, accompanied by cellist Isabel Castellvi, invites us into the timeless world of Rumi’s teachings.

Drawing from her translations of Rumi’s poetry, Haleh weaves together English readings, Persian recitations, and song, bringing new life to verses that speak across centuries and cultures. With the warmth of the human voice and the expressive depth of the cello, this special performance offers an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and experience the beauty, longing, and wisdom at the heart of Rumi’s words.

Whether you’re familiar with Rumi’s poetry or encountering it for the first time, join us for an evening of music, reflection, and shared inspiration.
