Although well-known among Inayati Sufis, the Rasa Shastra—a series of lessons given by Hazrat Inayat Khan on sexual relationships—has not often been mined in a Sufi teaching context for the wisdom it contains. In this three-day program, Deepa Gulrukh Patel, the International Coordinator of the Inayati Order, and Netanel Miles-Yépez, the Spiritual Director of the Abode of the Message, will explore the themes of love, intimacy, sex and modern relationships in the context of the Rasa Shastra, applying its lessons to spiritual practice and everyday life, and comparing them with the classical Sufi teachings on love as a transformative power.
