*Cancelled* An Embodied Path to Divine Love
with Andrew Harvey and Robin Becker
June 15 - 17, 2018
Our deepest connection to life is experienced through our bodies. The body is the heart of our shared humanity, and it carries the roots of our empathy, compassion, and inspired action. Join us for a weekend with Andrew Harvey and Robin Becker as they join forces to share their passionate teaching in the exploration of how movement, artistic expression and spiritual teachings in action can inspire us to be powerful agents of social and cultural change. They will share their experience of the body as a teacher of life’s unfolding mystery, and how our embodiment can become a resource for compassion, deep restoration, and reconnection to life that is desperately needed as we are called to take courageous and loving action in the world.
Throughout her life, Robin Becker has explored spirituality, conscious embodiment, artistic expression, and engaged activism. Jelalludin Rumi, the 13th century Persian poet, has been an important guide and teacher in Robin’s life. As a choreographer, she has created more than 20 dances inspired by the passionate poetry of Rumi. Robin’s recent project, Into Sunlight, was born out of her heart’s longing to inspire hope, initiate dialogue and contribute to healing in relationship to the effects of war and violence in our time. She is delighted to share this upcoming weekend with Andrew Harvey because of his deep connection to the wisdom of Rumi, and his passion and commitment to embodied spiritual activism.
Prices are for the entire program and including meals.
This is a companion program to the Sacred Activism Intensive with Andrew Harvey; attendance of both programs is not required.
