Join Amber Chand, global storyteller and writer as she takes you an evocative journey into the world of her ancestors in India and Africa through stories that will mesmerize and delight you. During her 75-minute performance, she will read excerpts from her forthcoming book, Tales of the Boatwoman, a book of ancestral stories and creative memoir, bringing extraordinary theatrics and skillful narrative to her performance. She has been described as a “spell binding storyteller”.
Tales of the Boatwoman is currently on tour and has been performed at various venues in New England, including the Berkshires and Martha’s Vineyard and internationally at the Teatro Santa Ana in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
